Common questions

I cannot sign in

Enter your e-mail on the sign-in screen. If your account uses a sign-in link, we send it to that address — check your spam folder. If you have a password instead, tap "Use password" on the next screen. Accounts come through the DreamTrips travel club, so the address must be the one registered with your membership.

Can I book a flight in the app?

Not yet. You can search real flights, times and fares to compare them while you plan, but booking a flight is not available in this release. Hotels can be booked in the app.

Alfred suggested something that was closed or wrong

Alfred is an AI assistant and opening hours, prices, visa rules and schedules change. Always double-check anything time-critical directly with the venue, airline or authority before you rely on it.

My Travel Wallet documents will not open offline

Open each document once while you still have a connection — that is what stores it on the device. Afterwards it opens without signal, including the QR code.

How do I change or cancel a hotel booking?

Open My Trips, select the booking and use the cancellation option shown there. What is possible depends on the rate you booked; the conditions are shown before you confirm.

How do I delete my account?

In the app: Settings → Delete account. For the full detail of what is erased and what is kept, and how to request deletion if you can no longer sign in, see Delete your account & data.

Notifications are not arriving

Turn them on in the Travel Wallet, and make sure notifications are allowed for DreamTrips in your phone's system settings. On Android 13 and newer the app asks for permission the first time you enable them.

Location suggestions are not working

Location sharing is off by default. Turn it on with the toggle in the app header, and allow location access when your phone asks. You can use the whole app without it.

Booked through a travel provider

Hotels, activities and tickets are supplied by our travel partners. Once a booking is confirmed, changes and refunds follow that provider's conditions — the ones shown to you before you confirmed. Write to us anyway if you are stuck and we will help you reach them.
